Making Catholic Education Affordable
Financing a quality Catholic education is a continuing challenge for families today. Sacred Heart School depends on a combination of tuition, parish subsidies, endowment earnings, personal donation, and fundraising to meet our annual budget. Our excellent faculty living and teaching our mission statement on a daily basis makes it possible for the students to easily learn and grow in Christ. Every effort is made to continue to offer salaries that will provide a competitive wage. The cost to educate a student rises every year, and we hope that tuition payments cover appoximately 18% of the cost.
Read on for ways to make a Catholic education available to your family.

Sacred Heart Tuition Scholarship Program

Donations are collected each year and distributed on a local basis. Families are encouraged to make an application for a tuition scholarship, especially if they fall under the following conditions:

  • Families with unusual circumstances or suffering a temporary setback (lost job, injury or illness)
  • Families who qualify for Free or Reduced School Lunch rates
  • Anyone on ADC or living on Social Security
Applications for the Local Tuition Scholarship Program are available each year at the spring registration time. The forms must be returned to the school on or before May 15 of the current year.
